I had bought my parents a decorative laser cube of my daughter in 2009 and they bought a light base for it. I bought them a second cube 10 years later in 2019 and bought this light base with it. It was so much better than the one that they had that I purchased a second one. First one I ordered works but this second one only works on usb power. The problem is that I purchased it to go on a stand that is not close to power thus I needed it to work on battery power. Not a consistent product. :( still Christmas goes on.

I got this for a small but heavy collectible and the area of the platform is too small for it to sit properly on it. It works for those dumb glass souvenirs as pictured but I was hoping to use it for something cooler than that. The light could be brighter too.
