I bought a set of these filters at the same time as buying a single brand Dyson filter. They all entered at once. The boxes they came in differed only in the filters. These cheaper versions are perfect for my Dyson air purifier at a fraction of the cost and look just like name brand filters.

Although they seem to be picking up some dust and who knows what else from my room they are slightly different from the OEM. They feel lighter and the fit isn't as precise. It took some adjustments to fit well, but the lid works well for that. In just over a month of use, I've found that it doesn't collect as much dirt as the original, which may mean it doesn't filter as much.

These filters are affordable and the perfect replacement for the dirty (original) filters used in both of my Dyson Pure Hot+Cool (HP02) air purifiers. As others have said, the fit is a bit tight, so it takes a bit of force to snap it into place (and snap the lids back into place). But they fit and work great! I am very happy with my purchase.

It would be helpful to have full instructions on how to thoroughly clean the rear compartment air sensor with a gentle cotton swab and then remotely restart it by first briefly pressing the power button and then press and hold the power button for 6 or 7 seconds. The front panel display will then stop showing the filter indicator and the display will return to normal operation.

I was very pleased to see that this filter costs several times less than Dyson replacement filters but when they arrived the difference in quality was obvious. The cheaper filter was so much lighter than the Dyson filters that I weighed them out of curiosity. 8 oz vs. 12+ oz correspondingly less filter media and layers. Cannot be removed from the Dyson case without cutting it apart. The first sign of a problem was the filter housing not locking into place. It was only about 1/8 inch tall but didn't close. The Dyson machine works but with a filter warning. When I removed the housing, the filter remained in the housing.
