Bought for my 5 year old son. He usually wears a size 4T so I chose a size 6/7. It's just a little big, but it's not baggy and doesn't fit well. It has enough room to grow into it and wear it all winter, but maybe not next year, maybe. The jacket is well made, warm, the hood is good. A lot of jackets seem to add a hood as an afterthought, but this works well and actually protects the face from rain and snow.

We've had this jacket for almost a year - it's weathered the fall and spring. I like to use things for a while before flipping through them. It takes washing and drying well. It still looks like new. It was bought for my son (7 years old) and he had a pretty good time playing with it. He wears it in fairly cold weather, but without warm underwear I wouldn't wear it as a winter coat unless the wearer is active. I would say it's holding up well. It is worth buying.

Having bought several hooded Columbia jackets for my 4 year old over the past few years, I recently bought this jacket for him and am so glad I did .
