I bought this belt (and another one exactly the same in a different color. It had the name Colombia on it so I thought it must be good. WRONG! First of all, it's not) easy Cut to the right length. It's a matter of trial and error. DO NOT cut too much at once or you will end up with a belt that is too short. Metal hinge broke after 5 times light use making it unusable (strap does not hold). Columbia is supposed to be an outdoor activities brand and I wanted to take them on a real hike. But the 5th time I put it on - always light use, no active use yet (no hiking or anything yet), it broke (see photo). It's basically been sitting in my closet for a couple of years with 1 or 2 uses a year so that's really an issue. A complete junk, shame on Columbia - so glad it broke before the actual ride otherwise
