Attention - the bags are not at all as described!

Buy for the bag's features - don't buy. Revain describes these shorts as having the following "many useful features": (1) single zippered security pocket - FACT CHECK: There were NO zippered pockets; (2) Side pockets with Velcro - FACT CHECK: Side pockets would not close at all; and (3) pouches with mesh pockets for maximum efficiency and convenience - FACT CHECK: These shorts have NO mesh whatsoever, let alone pockets. We bought them specifically to protect pockets (for travel) but they didn't

Great for super skinny girls!

My son will be 6 soon and buying shorts or pants for him is a big pain. It easily fits 2T and 3T waists, but usually needs 4T/5T length. All of his shorts that fit around his waist only go halfway down his hips. We bought these size XXS pants for a national park trip with a 70 temp drop and some creek hikes and I'll try to report how they fare. But once he put them on and unbuttoned his pants, he said he wanted to wear them EVERY DAY because they were longer than his other shorts (nobody everโ€ฆ

Too thin/poor quality

First of all, we generally like the quality of Columbia outerwear. We bought these pants for our two children to use as boy scout pants. We usually buy LL Bean zip-up pants for this purpose, but their pants have been in stock for a few months, so we decided to give them a try. Very disappointing. Pants are very thin/light. This in itself would be fine as kids could always wear pants underneath in colder weather, but pants will never stand up to active outdoor use by active kids. After one washโ€ฆ
