Through trial and error, buying shoes online is not an easy task. My kid loved them after quickly giving up some of the other options due to the poor fit. They fit as expected, true to size. It's been a few weeks now and they're doing great with lots of mud, water, tree climbing, rock crawling and fort building.

Charming shows that seem pretty well done. but they wouldn't even fit my son's foot. I should have ordered 2 sizes up to fit him so I ended up sending them back.

Runs small due to back strap not stretching/velcro. My daughter wears a size 4. After reading the reviews I ordered a size 5 but it didn't fit. I would have to take at least one size bigger. Hoping my next child will be able to wear them as they appear to be high quality.

Ordered these for my son as they looked very high quality and were a good option for closed toe sandals. However, my son was unable to wear any of the pairs I ordered as both were too small. I recommend ordering at least one, if not two, sizes larger. The other shoes I bought for my son who is a size 6 are still a bit big but these are too small. We squeezed in while waiting for a replacement, but otherwise he wasn't very comfortable wearing them.

This is good if you want some pretty stiff summer sandals. They are open at the sides and heel (but not at the toe). They are just as thick and inflexible as full-size running shoes from the same manufacturer. I prefer softer and more flexible children's sandals.

I bought these sandals for my 5 and 7 year old boys. They were comfortable from the first wear and have held up well throughout the summer. I love that these sandals have real rubber soles and not the "foam soles" that you see on most shoes these days. Your feet breathe well in these shoes and I haven't noticed any odor like some other sandals they've had. I plan to get the next size up for her next summer.

My picky son loves these sandals! I usually find it difficult to get him to wear sandals, but that's undisputed. They are true to size, well made and comfortable. I will buy them again next year. Love the style of these sandals. On the advice of the reviewer, I ordered 2 sizes larger. It was a risk for us because my son is more on the SM side. Well, the sandals were definitely great.
