Easy to use, unfortunately no way to test the cable

Excellent Japanese design, good quality and good materials. good looks and fine finish. simple one-button range selection and an easy-to-read multifunctional color display, as well as simultaneous SWR and cross-resistance measurements on the center probe. Unfortunately, this device is not intended for testing coaxial cables. I would like Comet to include a cable test function in future models.

Great product

I have wanted/needed an analyzer for a long time, have borrowed MFJ products from friends and just never wanted to buy one. When I found and read about the Comet CAA-500 I was dying to try it. After using it for months and having my friends use it and compare it to MFJ products, it stacks up pretty well. In fact, all my friends now want a Comet product and appreciate the excellent quality. worth your money!

I've probably adjusted the SWR of hundreds of antennas over the year using the old method of checking each end of the range and making small adjustments to center the sink . I searched long and hard for the cheap $30 and $40 gauges and had so much bad luck with them that I considered buying something better. And it ended up being MUCH BETTER!
