UL Listed 90W Smart AC Adapter Charger for HP 937532-850 710413-001 Laptop Power Supply Review

The last replacement power pack only lasted a year. So this time I took a closer look at the reviews. I used to think they were all the same, but they aren't. This one is much heavier and stronger. The power cord is very thick, with three pins. It even came in a carefully wrapped box. Doesn't matter. Worth a few dollars more!

Three things struck me when I first got and tried it today: 1. When I plugged it into the surge protector it caught fire. This has never happened before.2. My laptop battery was at 35% when I plugged this in. In less than sixty seconds it was discharged to 9%.3. It doesn't charge the battery at all. Isn't that the whole point? When I first bought a laptop power adapter it broke right out of the box.

NEED A SPARE ADAPTER CABLE, I HAVE 4 LAPTOP BOOKS, 3 of any HP product purchased in the last 14 months. NO ONE USES A SINGLE POWER ADAPTER! HELLO HP COMBINED TO SAVE YOUR PRODUCTION COSTS. Bought this for my wife who owns her own accounting business. She has a home office but sometimes has to travel to clients. She uses her laptop for her business. She always had to unplug the cord at her desk and it was tedious. I bought it for mobile use and it fits perfectly. Also worked great on 220v when we worked remotely from India for 6 weeks, warmed up a bit on 220v but no side effects.
