Description of 📦 Enhanced Clear Transparent Enclosure Box with Switch for SB Components Arduino Mega Case

This is a no-nonsense protective case designed specifically for the Arduino Mega 2560 R3. The case is a two-piece injection-molded ABS enclosure that snaps together around the Arduino. Holds the Arduino firmly in place. It provides tough protection for the Arduino while providing access to all Arduino connectors. It also includes an integrated power switch for the Arduino. Integrated on/off switch. Access to all Arduino Mega R3 connectors.

Not recommended: the Mega 2560 bends, otherwise it hangs in the case.

Will not fit Mega 2560. The clips that should hold the board are too low causing the board to bend. I'm too scared to try to bend the board to fit the case. If you do not attach the circuit board, the sides of the case will bulge and the top cover will not attach securely. The circuit board can then shift slightly and tilt towards the bottom of the case. I would not recommend this case if you want to keep your Mega 2560 safe. It covers it but the circuit board is not secured.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • For old

Pretty little case. in single board computers

This neat little bag protects my Arduino I use at work from accidents. The Arduino snapped in fairly easily. Some other reviewers have complained about reset button issues. I slightly bent the rod that touched the reset button and it worked for me. I recommend this case for any standalone Arduino projects. Of course it can't be used with shields, but if you go there with your project you'll still have to build your own shell.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Great case for Arduino Mega

I have an "internal" brand Arduino Mega. This brand of Mega fits perfectly with no play. Just make sure the mega board is fully seated into the base of the case so that the mega board is resting on each of the 4 internal posts of the base. Then snap the lid on and it will fit perfectly. Even the reset button is perfectly aligned and sits directly over the button with no play.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Will not fit Mega 2560. The clips that are supposed to hold the board are too low, causing the board to bend. I'm too scared to try to bend the board to fit the case. If you do not attach the circuit board, the sides of the case will bulge and the top cover will not attach securely. The board can then be easily slid and tilted towards the bottom of the case. I would not recommend this case if you want to keep your Mega 2560 safe. It covers it but the circuit board is not secured.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Vulgarity

As others have said, the two halves of this bed do not stay together. You'll need to tape the sides of the case or use a rubber band to keep it from falling apart. Because the reset button is right in the middle of the board, any significant pressure on the top of the case will be transferred to the reset button, which can result in awkward resets. However, it protects and insulates the Arduino well, which was my goal when purchasing this item. Hence the 4 stars.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Big and bulky

There is something wrong with the specifications of this product

Not sure. I would rate this a 2.5 out of 3. I ordered this as a board protector but the main issue is that the case itself seems dangerous to the board. There are small clips on the long sides of the board that are used to keep the board level, but the problem is that they are not positioned correctly. They are so "low" that the board flexes noticeably when you try to align the board on the screw stands and snap the clamps into place. Aside from the clips, the bottom of the case bulges outward…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Beautiful Body - Tight Tolerances

Good body with generally accurate tolerances. The reset switch button isn't really the same as the reset switch on my Elegoo Mega 2560, but I'll admit that it could be a third-party implementation of the Arduino Mega spec. You need to make sure you're actually pressing on the board to "snap" both long edges in order for it to sit properly. I also ordered a case for the Arduino Uno R3 and it looks exactly like this one for the Mega. , but the other case had small rubber feet that could be…

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Keep quiet
