Poorly. It looks like fluorescent lights.

Description says good soft light but looks like very bad neon light. Makes a work of art terrible. It's worse if you use it on a frame with glass because you can see the LEDs reflecting off the glass.

Perfect light for acrylic or pastel drawings

Loved the light. The perfect amount of light for a painting. Mounted high on the wall. the light is not blind. I bought 4 of these for other jobs! I love the brushed nickel. Matches other surfaces in my house.

Great light to work in a frame with convenient remote control to turn on and off. Excellent quality product.

A very nice lamp for a family member's ballet costume design, framed and displayed for display around the house. The price is much better than local retail, the battery operated remote control works well and allows you to dim and increase the light with two buttons, and the product quality is very good.

Works best with image and display lighting as hoped

We had a black and white drawing board in a dark corner and wanted to illuminate it without running a cable across the wall. This size was perfect as the pattern was 9 inches wide. The swivel head allowed us to aim it so that the entire image was illuminated. I attached it to the frame so we can easily move it in the future if we want to. Batteries last well, but we only light them when we're using the space or expecting company.
