The packaging is also simple and easy to use. The only downside is that it can be a bit pricey compared to other water treatments. Useless Alkalinity Treatment for Aquariums

this alkalinity treatment claims to maintain pH levels in aquariums but it does nothing at all. I've used it several times and my water parameters remained unchanged..

does the job. Slight learning curve.

Increased pH as advertised. Easy to follow instructions. It caused significant hazing when it was first added to the tanks, but disappeared the next day. Subsequent "doses" caused minimal haze. Once the tank was adjusted to the correct alkalinity, I added the product to a weekly water change the day before filling up the tanks and cloudiness did not occur.
