Bought to replace a remote control that my dog ate. I took this remote out of the box, put the batteries in, pointed it at the TV and it worked. It's that simple. My dog has already chewed on a corner and #dogproof still works? Maybe like this!

Oh my god the other poster was right! Just add batteries and you're good to go! It is absolutely indistinguishable from the original remote control! I would definitely recommend a silicone case for it! EVERY time I dropped the original, the rear part flew off the case. Who would have thought that such cases even existed?

Insert batteries and voila! It worked out of the box. Got a free Vizio TV that had a bad remote and worked great. and if they match, you are protected. At these prices you can buy a couple to have on every chair in the room, recommended.

Our original remote was showing its age and after so many falls from our kids it started to crack on the sides. We looked for different suppliers to replace them and decided to give this company a try. We were NOT disappointed! The remotes worked right away and didn't look like cheap fakes. We are so happy! We will definitely be ordering from here in the future!

Works great so far! It's only been a day since we bought it as a replacement because my 6 year old daughter decided to throw a tantrum and damage her original remote, but so far it's working perfectly on her TV! No configuration was required. Just insert batteries and it runs! I even bought a silicone case for the remote that Revane suggested (which is also great if you have young kids).

I bought 3 of these and they all fit all 4 of my Vizio TVs although the model number doesn't match the remote code. Only the music shortcut button doesn't work on 3 TVs (it works on 4 TVs) but I don't mind as I never use it anyway. The reason I chose this particular model of remote control was because it came with my 55" Vizio 4K TV and I knew this remote would work with all my other Vizio TVs.

This remote control is better than the one that came with the new D32h-G9 TV I bought. It has 2 important buttons that weren't on the remote control in the TV box. Vizio doesn't seem to think much about what distant people need. I called customer service to help get the TV working and the person insisted I push buttons I didn't have! I spent another $7 and got this remote that works better than the one that came with the TV.
