🎮 Elgato Stream Deck – Custom LCD Key Controller with Live Content Creation (15 Pack, Authorized Distributor, 1 Year Manufacturer Warranty) Review

This is a must-have tool for any streamer and also a great tool for quick commands in productivity applications. I program my keys for different tasks depending on the program. Way better than any virtual streaming deck. We strongly recommend at least 15 key versions.

I bought it to quickly launch desktop applications and run custom scripts. I save a lot more time when I can click a button since I usually have dozens of applications active. You no longer need to open Windows Explorer and navigate to a folder or minimize a series of windows. Just a click or two and you're done. I know it's supposed to be for streamers, but since you can view pretty much anything, it's a power user's best friend.

I know a lot of people will choose these for streaming but honestly they have quite a few other uses. It's basically a set of 15 programmable LCD macro keys that you can also assign various keystroke commands to, as well as general commands for programs like Spotify, or even set things like a timer or stock/crypto ticker. It's more convenient than you think, even if you don't stream or only stream occasionally.

This does exactly what it says on the tin and creates a beautifully customizable extension for your regular keyboard. The online icon maker came in handy when I set this up. And when I ran into a small issue, the phone support was excellent. The customization software is a bit idiosyncratic and heavily geared towards various gaming and social media platforms. I bought this to use with Zoom and couldn't find any presets for that platform, but setup was still quick and easy. Highly recommended.

I saw all my favorite streamers got one of these and it was the must get brand so I got one and oh my god I did am so glad i did it!
