It seems to work, although not exactly what is shown in the photo.

I'm still trying to figure out if this is a fake or genuine FTDI (SN AB0JSRN0) but it seems to be working. I'll update if I encounter any problems with it. The strangest, but not very important, is the case, cut, uneven, uneven, from a larger case. It's good but looks less professional.

Quick and easy to get to computer accessories and peripherals

I was a little worried the + and - marks were reversed but as soon as I plugged it in and plugged it in my computer loaded the drivers on its own and we were in running and talking.

Documentation required

Works well, small form factor is great. But there was no documentation, no markings on the screw terminals, so I had to go to Revain and look at product photos to find out the pinout for connecting to the network. It would be very useful to have a label on the case or a card with a diagram in the box.

I have modified the USB to serial interface for programming the circuit temperature computer. It turned out the way I needed it.

Those are little screws!

I just want RS-485 drivers and the flexibility and security of screw terminals. I just didn't realize how small this port is compared to other serial ports I've used, the screws are slightly smaller than those on my glasses - so be careful not to use a jeweler's screwdriver or an "iFixit" -Having a set on hand is probably a good idea. As with everyone else, it would be great to have a quick pinout guide in the credit card sized instructions that came with this one, but I've already seen the…
