Description of 🌬️ Enhance Your Cooling System with Coolerguys 120mm High Airflow Waterproof IP67 12v Fan

ENVIRONMENTAL RESISTANCE: IP67 design technology allows this to be completely dustproof and waterproof (rated to be submerged up to 1m for 30min). HIGHER AIRFLOW/LOWER NOISE: Updated blade and motor designs allow this to put out 157 cubic feet per minute with a noise level of 45db. That's equivalent to the ambient noise of nighttime in the suburbs or a standard kitchen fridge. LONG LASTING: Dual ball bearings give a long projected lifespan of up to 67,000 hrs--that's over 7 years. Backed by manufacturer with a 3 year warranty. STANDARD CONNECTOR: Standard 3 pin native connector allows for easy adaptability with many systems. Contact us if you need to determine which is the positive, negative, or tachometer (speed sensor) wires as they're all painted black.

Great supporter! on Computer Components

Bought to complete my fog cooler. I had another cheaper fan but I returned it for this one as it is waterproof and works better in my cooler. Bought the PSU from CoolerGuys and together they worked flawlessly. Just what I needed for my homemade fog cooler. Overall, my cooler cost me about $30 vs. $100+ when I bought it online, and it was a fun project. on a PS5 that I keep at the entertainment center. Great fans with amazing performance. They're a bit noisy, but that's to be expected given the…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Almost never

Second ipx67 fan from the cooler boys. The first was dead on arrival. Not sure if it's worth the extra cost. Not sure what is being done to make it waterproof. Maybe fill the board with epoxy? Looks like no ipx67 fan of them. NO SOFT SILICONE RUBBER FEET as stated in the description. It pushes out a lot of air but is louder than most. Maybe I have the old style without soft corners and without impregnation? What is very annoying is that the wires are not marked in a conventional way. The latter

  • Great for outdoor activities

Sounds like a leaf blower and can be just as powerful.

I bought this fan while looking for a new computer fan. I'm not very computer savvy, but I don't recommend this just for the amount of noise. It seems like I have a fan in my room and I can hear it throughout the house. You can definitely hear this fan running and it works great, but I don't recommend it for indoor use.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Unreliable

POOR MANUFACTURE, QUALITY CONTROL AND WIRING DIAGRAMS

The fan blade seems to be dangling in the case. I can swing it back and forth at least half an inch. The fan works in horizontal position. When I mount it vertically, the fan just bounces back and forth and doesn't spin. I even pushed it slightly in the direction of rotation to get it to start but it still doesn't work. This is an update of the above review. Since I couldn't return the fan I decided to take it apart to see what was wrong. I found I could pull the knife block out of the engine…

Forget the big airflow, it's TORNADO

Expects a regular 120mm fan at 3500RPM Do you have two dual 120mm fans that max out at 3750RPM? So who needs air conditioning? You move a lot of air, the computer here is perpendicular to the front double window and its blinds. The old system fans only moved seven of them. This moves them ALL through the 36 blinds! THIS IS LOUD. STILL TALK THAT LOUD! When you run at maximum speed. It's three pins and I haven't tried to control them to control the fan. Two attached. Note that they are so thick…
