I use this fan to cool the receiver. Because the receiver is on a shelf, the only opening is the front of the receiver. The receiver sits on a shelf with about 5 inches of clearance at the top and 3 inches of clearance on the sides. The receiver is in a place where there is enough air to flow through. Although I don't think it's enough to cool the receiver when playing movies at near cinema volume. I might not use them for their intended purpose, but it works. The receiver keeps the cooling…
