The short USB connection cable

The only problem with this micro fan is that the included power cable is a bit shorter than I need (6 inches). Soldering only takes 5 minutes. replace, but a longer cable would be nice.</p>

Cons
  • is not reliable

Low flow, no data transfer via USB

USB dongle only goes power, no data, which is just stupid. This means that you cannot connect it to an existing power and data connection to the Raspberry Pi, for example. Airflow is very low, to the point where you can't even tell which way the air is moving when it's on. That's quite enough to cool a low-power device by a few degrees.

Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Is he even? good for computer components

I took a chance because I need a micro fan - I read a review that mentioned it had performance and ant luck - good. the ants don't bother, and neither does this spinning drive - at least it has a stackable USB connector - I'll leave it and see what I can experimentally dig out.

Cons
  • embarrassing

A good fan, but why the side "bump " in the USB port?

Nice little fan, very easy to connect (just plug in). only one problem I use this on various Raspberry Pis. The problem is that the small protrusion that comes out on the side of the USB port doesn't allow you to plug in another USB port next to it. The layout of the ports on the Pi3 allows it to be plugged into the edge slot and the space it uses is outside of the space used by the USB ports. This does not apply to the Pi4 as the USB ports are on the other side of the Pi.

Cons
  • Update Availability

Did the trick for the internals

The noise level was a bit higher than I thought but they are still pretty quiet. I attached one to a very thin piece of wood behind the case, it resonates a bit, you can hear it but it's not annoying or anything. I bought two of these fans and they work great together to cool a large Sony receiver that is fully enclosed in a TV cabinet. But there is no ventilation. These fans did their job to prevent the device from shutting down due to overheating. That got pretty annoying.
