Works well: computers and accessories

I bought an active USB hub from 8 different manufacturers to control 6 USB GPRS/SMS modems. This is the first device that does not fail after a few weeks and is powered intermittently. I would give 5 stars if the installation was geared towards the data center communications rack rather than the circuit breaker rack.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Finally someone built a real USB hub!

If you have a million USB devices on hand like me, you don't want to plug everything into your tower and my experience with a USB hub isn't great, they're usually built so cheaply that they're simple not hold. After googling the log I found this center. 12 ports! The only downside which is a bit silly is that you have to buy a power supply separately and it has a special connector that you have to find, seriously a 12 port hub it's absolutely necessary to power it. In any case, once turned on…

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Having doubts

The product was DOA, I called CoolGear and they were .

Product was DOA, I called CoolGear and they were far from friendly. They told me it was impossible to have a DOA product. I had high hopes for the product but the customer service was disgusting. Stay away from it, unfortunately I don't think there is another product on the market that covers this functionality.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

I wish they had those years ahead of their time.

Very satisfied, it suits my needs perfectly and works perfectly in my ground vehicle, hidden behind the original OEM radio. It allows you to power more than two phones, a USB-powered Bluetooth receiver, a detachable 7-inch Samsun tablet, and a USB charger for a Streamlight flashlight (a total of 5 devices with 2 extra ports, and I can use one port to access both phones, my laptop, and also to a tablet to share files on the go. Now my only issue is that I think I should have ordered a second one

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Only available in white
