Worked fairly well for about a year. Doesn't turn on anymore. It was pretty cheap so it shouldn't be a big deal, but it took me a long time to set this camera up to give it as much of a 'factory' look as possible. Discussing going through the uninstall and installing a new one.

I bought this because of the features and reviews. I would like to give 5 stars, but unfortunately my device does not work. Glad I checked before I ran the cables. I could not return through my own fault. I'm a procrastinator and didn't plan on installing it until more than 60 days had passed since I received it. I will say it looks beautiful.

Description needs to be updated to say installation is ONLY BELOW! You cannot flip or change the image like some other cameras! Decent image quality but I had to order another camera to get the image right for my editing platform. If you examine their products, you will see that some of them are labeled UP or DOWN. They should do this with ALL their cameras. This will really help people!

Good quality camera. It's not angled enough for the rear of the VW Jetta so I had to make a wedge washer to increase the angle. Also, the grub screw fell out when tightening the lock nut, it was only about 1 turn. I took it out, screwed it back in and everything was fine. I also like the ability to cut the green or white wire to make it reflective, or get rid of the park lines. My main unit has parking lines as well as lines that rotate with the steering wheel.

Very good image quality (much better than some OEM rear view cameras). The wiring is long enough for a sedan and some remains are hidden. I've had several high pressure car washes and haven't had any issues with moisture build up inside the lens. This camera doesn't have night vision IR, but I have very bright backup lights that aren't a problem in the dark. Great camera - looks like OE quality. Also a great picture. Note: the toggle wires (two loops that can be cut to remove the guides and flip the image) work fine, but the image flips horizontally instead of vertically. It wasn't very clear when I bought it and was surprised when the image just flipped instead of inverted when I mounted it vertically. I would give 6 stars if I could! This is a really good camera kit with obvious quality and attention to small details. The case is metal, with a well-painted finish, with no seams where water could seep in. The lens is made of glass, which is much more weather resistant than plastic, resulting in sharper images over time. It costs a few dollars more compared to cheaper camera kits. I installed this on a 2015 Mazda 6 with a Clarion NX405 head unit. Here are some things I learned.1. Once you have drilled the hole for the camera, make sure there is enough room to thread the nut onto the bolt. I brought mine too close to the edge of the plastic piece. I ended up just removing the nut - the tape is pretty strong so the nut is a little more. Maybe in a few years I want that nut. 2. Fish tape and cable ties make installation easier.
