Excellent Vacuum Bleed

The other day I spent several hours trying to bleed the rear brakes on my GSXR 1000 after installing new caliper seals and draining the fluid completely. Got a vacuum bleeder hooked up and within five minutes the brakes were fully bled and working perfectly. The other night I couldn't get all the airlines. Good product

Ideal for vacuum packing/canning of dried foods

This is a good brake bleeder kit. However, I am not a mechanic. Although I'm a nutritionist. I use a popular electric machine to seal and vacuum jars of dried food. I've had constant problems sealing wide and regular neck jars. To bleed the brakes, I use the same cans, same vacuum bleed nozzles, and keep a hose with a brake bleed tip in the adapter hole. I pump until the meter hits 15 and stop. It's easy, quick and not a can has leaked yet.

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

Great Tool!: Brake Tool

After changing the brake pads, my Jeep started pulling to the right when I applied the brake. I removed everything again to make sure they installed properly. Everything was fine so I figured I got air in the lines somehow so I ordered that. There was no liquid leaking from the front left. It turned out that the inner core of my brake line had come loose and bent, clogging the line. After changing the line, I did a complete brake flush with this kit. You have to download it a lot but it's worth

This is normal for brake tools

I've used this one too but the instruction manual that comes with it is pretty basic and straight forward. The product itself appears to be somewhat flawed. I had to make some modifications to the boots that fit over the bleed nuts and fit onto the end of the hose that comes with the product. The very first one seemed snug and snug, but after that it was very loose and didn't want to stay at all. Once I finally figured out a way to get the boot to stay on the bleed nut everything was fine, but…

No solid connection - significant amount of air in line

I've bled a few brakes over the years but thought I'd bite the bullet and buy a bleed kit - like this one. I've spent about half an hour on the passenger's rear exhaust valve and have never been able to get a good seal - either with the supplied caps that attach to the end of the hose or by connecting the hose directly to the valve itself. I've even tried to zip all connections - did not help. The pressure gauge on the pump seemed to show that it was pulling enough pressure - even more than…

Works but not a brake fan, there are better tools for self bleeding

I think everything was ok? I wish I could just buy a Motive brake bleed like I used to. It did its job well, but I wasn't thrilled to use it. I replaced the brake lines with stainless steel and bled them. I think I ended up letting all the air out, but I won't be using it again. The rubber grommets for the breather do not fit my Nissan Frontier. I had to cut one in half and use it as a bushing instead of its intended purpose. Even tried knitting a tie to seal it. It helped, but a bad seal, in…
