Bleeding the brakes is easy

I bought this to bleed the hydraulic clutch on my Street Glide. I drained all the liquid from the reservoir and filled it with fresh. I unscrewed the outlet valve, drained the fresh liquid, filled the tank and that was it. The clutch has a much better feel and costs $$ per use.

multipurpose! on Tools & Equipment

You can use this as a cheap hydraulic tool for excavators. If you have a big enough/powerful compressor, this thing will work wonders for anything. I used it to bleed the clutch and brakes and I took the rubber part of the bleeder off the end of the tube and stuck it in the power steering reservoir. That's great!

The product did not work, the liquid did not flow out at all. Do not buy.

The product didn't work, I tried the recommended PSI as instructed, when that didn't work I used a higher PSI and it still didn't work. I want to return, but I don't currently have a return window. Don't buy this, you will be disappointed. I did the job the old fashioned way and stuck a piece of vinyl tubing inside the bottle.

Bleed brakes fits brake tools

Took me a few minutes to figure out how to do this properly. If you tear off the bleed valve, the vacuum will take the path of least resistance and pull air out from under the threads of the bleed valve. I pulled the bleed holes all the way out and let the brake fluid run down the threads, which sort of sealed the threads. The rear calipers are coarsely threaded so this trick didn't work so I pulled them out and wrapped the threads in teflon tape and bam the block worked great. The refill…

This vent valve did not work as expected in practice. The master cylinder reservoir is too tall to fit under the open hood. The big problem is that the master cylinder is located near the hood on most cars, so this is a common problem for most users. The height of the bottle is too high to fit in the space between the open hood and the master cylinder. I had to top up brake fluid manually instead of automatically keeping it full. The bottle needs to be short and wide to function as intended…

Original Review Best in Tools & Equipment

I just opened this tool and am testing it before trying to use it tomorrow. The included 1-page instruction manual is pretty useless. It says absolutely nothing about connecting to a compressor! WTF! If anything, the instructions seem misleading. There is a video on YouTube that is slightly better, but still not as good. It appears to be identical to the instrument that Harbor Freight sells. I think I found out that you need more than 90psi from your compressor to get a decent vacuum. Also wrap
