A bit chunky but impressively durable

Good: people claim they drove a truck over this thing without damaging it. I haven't put it through such extreme tests, but I believe them. The screw top closure makes it durable and truly waterproof, reducing the chance of accidental loss. I've used faster USB3 drives, but they have fairly high read/write speeds. Good price for what you get. The bad: The cylindrical form factor makes it unwieldy for a keychain; This wasn't my intended use, so it's not a problem for me. I was going to writeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great build
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Decent but room for improvement

As a flight simulator specialist, I needed a USB stick that I could carry on a string at all times and accidentally drop or bump something and take the punishment. After reading other buyers' comments, I decided to reinforce each joint with epoxy. So far everything is holding up and I'm very happy with it. But there's definitely room for improvement: the rubber straps around the base should wrap around the edges for better protection against falls, the internal USB drive should have a rubberโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Vulgarity

I do not recommend this product

With all the physical security that this product promises. . . Well, the flash drive inside is broken in half from natural wear and tear. Would not recommend this item.

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • sad packaging

DJs beware of the best USB sticks

I bought this product 3 months ago to DJ with. It worked fine for the first few months, but since then it has rapidly deteriorated. I've only played a couple of gigs with this stick so I'm a little confused and concerned at how quickly it became unusable. In fact, when I connect it to a CDJ/XDJ, it takes over a minute for all the tracks I have stored on the flash drive to appear on the screen. And what's worse, when I try to load the tracks onto the deck, it takes at least another 30 secondsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Very expensive

Did not survive in Computers & Accessories

I bought this specifically to have a durable flash drive to carry in the tool box. I've used regular flash drives before and they're fine, but I bought this one hoping it would never fall apart. However, the Corsair flash drive fell apart ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. I carried it with me for less than a month, whereas a totally unprotected flash drive would last at least 3 or 4 years. At least not a reliable alternative.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • No Form Required

This is not a 16GB drive.

The drive is said to be 16GB. No, that is not so. It has a total of 30,326,784 blocks of 512 bytes, which is 15.5 GB (or 14.4 GB). The difference is about 3% and is important for some applications. The old Survivor drives were filled with 16GB, apparently Corsair has now decided to cut corners. Not recommended.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • Expensive

Great product, love that it's waterproof and anti-magnetic

This was a replacement for one of my USB hubs. Great item, love that it's waterproof and antimagnetic. The ability to attach a D-ring to a belt is a plus.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Reliability

Shelf life unopened only

I've been living with a dozen of these for a number of years. I found them durable when kept closed, but without the lid they are extremely delicate. The mechanical connections between the connector, body, and cap are pretty flimsy, and if one of them bends slightly (e.g. due to a small dent), the tiny wires inside will snap quickly and you'll lose your data (except for super expensive ones). Spare Parts). Operation). Additionally, some of my drives began to fail with no visible physical damage

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
