Reliable PS, good cables, see cable replacement alert

Reliable power supply, fully modular. I have no problems with cables. Mb, 6 pin cables are thick but quite flexible. The SATA power cables are flat and a bit stiff, but that's not a problem unless you try to twist them (I tuck the slack between the drives - that helps me). The only issue with SATA cables is distance. I only used three instead of two to process my 6 discs. They make the extension cords and splitters I used for my USB3 cards. Word of wisdom: Never use cables from another…

Definitely upgrading

I have an old power supply that isn't even listed in the PC parts selector so I bought this replacement power supply. I don't need an extension cord to power the CPU and the cords and/or case are all black. It seems to power the motherboard, CPU, graphics card, etc better than my previous PSU. I installed an old PSU in my previous custom build and it still works. This power supply is definitely a great upgrade.

  • Pretty package

I liked the PSU

I had intermittent power outages where I had to turn off the computer using the power button and turn it back on to get the power back on, so I replaced the 550w PSU that was in my computer with this food. It has quiet fans and has been running for over a month with no problems. The performance was great and I would definitely recommend it. FYI: I'm not a gamer, but I have a lot on my PC: an ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 with a water-cooled Corsair AMD FX(tm)-8320 octa-core processor and an NVIDIA…

Hurricane Harvey struck power lines with lightning.

Hurricane Harvey struck a power line with lightning and my main computer exploded. Using a paperclip test, I found out that it was the power supply and a 24-pin ATX connector. Various cables were supplied to meet the need for power distribution. Didn't have to queue at the store. Revane managed to carry it to my door. Because I work online, I was able to get back to work quickly. Many Thanks

Great product - I finally have all the Corsair components on my PC

After just a day, a bit early to rate the PSU, so I'll update later if something catastrophic happens. However, the thing is great. It's small, but powerful and quiet. The fully modular aspect really makes a big difference to the partially modular power supplies I've had. All black cables are long enough and the CPU cable can easily be routed the way you want it. I'm getting used to having this PSU in my system (it's not really necessary, just for my own sanity) before I start overclocking my…

Affordable, modular, works

I decided to redesign my desktop case and didn't want to use a used AX760i anymore, although it's fine. So I bought a new one and went with the RMX trim level as the AX power supplies, while fantastic, are just a little out of my price range when buying new. The only thing that confuses me is how it fits in my case, but that's more of a case issue than the fault of the PSU itself. Works quietly, never bothered.

  • Solid build

  • Can't remember
