💡 Corsair RGB RAM Lighting Review

Does what it should, very quickly and aesthetically. Too bad I wasn't satisfied with RGB. In fact, a DIMM in my kit failed after a few months, but Corsair offers great warranty service and I get my new kit at my home from anywhere in Taiwan within 3 days of reporting the incident. I ordered this kit a little over a month ago and only had the chance to test it a few days ago. One stick turned out to be dead, but Revain agreed to replace it even outside of the 30-day return policy. The second kit arrived today and works great, I am now very impressed with the support from Amazon. The RAM itself has a nice red LED, but the RAM only runs at 2133MHz with my b350 Tomahawk Ryzen motherboard.

I had no problems the first week I had this RAM. After the first week I started making mistakes. It started with application crashes and then escalated to a full crash with a constant BSOD due to many stop errors. By the end of the third week my computer was completely useless. Bought this for my new Ryzen system hoping I could get the memory to 3000MHz. Right now with 1800x and Asus Crosshair vi Hero the highest clock I can clock is 2666MHz memory. It should also be noted that I bought 2 packs of 16GB x 2 to get 64GB of RAM. Hopefully a future BIOS update will allow 3000MHz.
