it is a great, comfortable footrest with lots of storage room. it was easier to assemble than one of those storage banker boxes! It took less than two minutes to do so. it was an excellent value for the quality and usefulness of the product. And it looks like a very nice piece of furniture in our den.

My husband needed a good little footstool and this one fits the bill perfectly! Just the right size and as a bonus he can keep his slippers & neck rest in it so they are out of the way but convenient for him. We are very pleased with it. Its lightweight and easy to move when cleaning. I often use it as a stool and it holds my weight no problem. I would recommend this product.

While it is not designed to hold a really heavy person it does add an extra seat. It is actually quite comfortable to sit on. Good place for a small blanket or other items. Fairly sturdy. I am happy with my purchase.

I use this hassock for what it was intended and as a bonus, there is storage space inside for my books and sewing materials. It has the appearance of a quality leather product even though it's not leather, and it is sturdy. However, I wouldn't stand on it because that's not what it was made for and it probably isn't strong enough for that purpose.

I bought this because I needed it for a dorm room lofted bed step stool. The product description said it holds up to 440#s and can be used as a step stool. I will keep it and use it for storage but my freshman will need to use it for storage. I don't think stepping up on it to get into a lofted bed will work. I do like the handles so it can be moved around easily. It looks good.
