Countdown Retirement Vacation Christmas Cirbic Review

Although I've only had it a few days it seems to be working as expected. One reviewer said there's no way to hang a timer. It is not true. The timer can be hung on the wall. However, it doesn't feel very reliable and the stand for placing the timer on the table is a bit flimsy. In general, programming was easy. The manual is written in perfect English and requires little interpretation.

Bought this countdown clock in mid-January to have fun counting down the days until I retire from my current job and start my second career. This was working fine until this week when I tried to set the clock back an hour due to the spring time change. It just freezes when I press the mode button. So it's completely unusable for me at the moment. Yes, the return date has already passed. Thumbs down!

Worked the day I received it but the next day the display died forever. Keys beep but no display, even with several sets of new batteries. I hope the replacement works. It is worth noting that it does not have a magnet. The company also sells the Cirbic "999-Day Retirement, Project, Vacation Countdown Timer," which might be a better choice since the display looks easier to read and has a magnet.

I bought this to replace another countdown clock that was running fast. This one is showing a much better time - maybe gaining a second a week. It is very easy to set, but difficult to set the seconds accurately. It just keeps counting, so it's difficult to set it accurately. I feel like the screen is very busy with start date and time, end date and time and countdown all showing at once. Overall this is a good countdown clock and I would recommend it.

I am very satisfied with this countdown clock. It's a good size (about the size of a kitchen clock) and easy to read with the lights on. There are two things I would like to change; no backlight and no way to hang the clock on the wall. I'm counting down to Christmas and the timer is keeping me on track with my crochet and knit gift projects. I would definitely go back and buy from this company again.
