59 inches x 1 Yard 18 Count Black Aida Cloth Cross Stitch Fabric - Premium Quality Review

Poor quality. We put a countable cross on it and fight to the end. Black Aida is notoriously difficult to work with, but this black Aida is very thin. If we could find him anywhere else, we would. When we ordered it, Charles Craft Gold Standard didn't offer it.

The color is really pretty - a solid rich black, the weave is tight and even. It looks great, but it's quite difficult to work with. This is my first black Aida project so I'm not sure if it's because of this brand or just the reality of working with dark fabrics. The holes are hard to see. I have a feeling I'll try to work in bright sunlight most of the time.

I am very happy with this fabric. It's high quality, much better than I expected. It's nice and heavy, and while I haven't cross-stitched it yet, I think I can make it without hooping. (I used it for a different kind of craft and didn't need a hoop for that either.) The holes are clean and even, and the count is accurate. I will definitely buy this fabric again if the need arises.
