Good size - great price - easy to use - no frills - DEFINITELY!

Great tabletop microwave! If you are looking for a high quality, easy to use, good size and great price, then this is it! Not fancy - it's a plus for us! I didn't want a clock or a digital display, I wanted something sleek and simple. Back to Basics is easy to use for teens and seniors! Our family recommends this product! Get ours with free shipping and huge discount! The total with state taxes was $56! UPDATE: As of today, 01/16/2019, it still works great like the first day! We don't use it…

Mind you that's 950 watts not 600 watts

I ordered this microwave to be powered by a generator so every watt counts. The description clearly says "0.6 cubic feet, 600 watts" on the first line. So I ordered it, thinking it would be 600 watts of power. However, as soon as I took it out of the box, the back of the microwave itself said "Power Input 950W, Output Power 600W", which means it produces 600W of microwave power in the oven but draws 950W of power from the oven. Power outlet. Update: I wasn't aware that this discrepancy applies…

Perfect for my situation.

Microwave ovens with rotary controls instead of digital control are VERY hard to find these days. I have a friend who has an implant in her head and can't be in the same room as a microwave so it wasn't possible to turn it on to heat food. Her seizures also caused her friends and neighbors to worry that she was using the stove. This microwave was installed in her kitchen on a remote switch so she could load her food in, set the timer, and then walk into the next room before hitting the ON…

  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Out of fashion

After searching many large and discount chains, I could not find a microwave with handles instead of a touch panel. I ordered this as a microwave replacement for my 91 year old mother. It didn't disappoint. This microwave is perfect for elderly people like my mother who have a lot of vision problems and the dexterity needed to operate the touchpad. This one is very easy to use, with one button for power and another button for time. It's small enough not to take up much table space, but large…

EASY to use, EASY to clean, takes up less space

I chose this model because almost all we use the microwave for is popcorn and the occasional butter melting or reheating leftovers. This model is smaller so I was able to reclaim some counter space by purchasing it. As I stand in front of him, he comes out to my left. The door and dials are to my right. The watch faces are extremely easy to use - there is absolutely NO learning curve. While we're quite a high-tech family, when simplicity is enough, simplicity just won't beat. Also, when it…

and also because it has a great design. It is small and has two dials.

Oh sorry to give that lousy star on this review but I honestly can't rate it any higher. Firstly because there is nothing underneath, and also because it has a great design. It's small and the two dials are easy to use. No more 5-minute searching for illegible numbers or figuring out an order when you just want to quickly warm up your coffee - grrrr. I've read all the conflicting reviews about it and was defeated by the usability argument, but was vaguely wondering if it was written by people…

Off Grid Solar Microwave Oven

My reason for buying this microwave is probably very different than most people who have written a review here. I wanted a microwave that could be used with an off-grid solar system. My solar system currently consists of 4 x 100w solar panels, a 40amp MPPT charge monitor, 4 x 105 amp deep cycle batteries in series and a 48 volt 1500 watt pure sine wave inverter. The inverter does a pretty good job of powering my compact 4.4 cu ft refrigerator, 32-inch flat screen TV, and laptop. However, the…
