It smelled delicious! in Essen

When I opened the bag, I felt this wonderful fresh nutty smell! Simply magical, and the birds love it! I will definitely buy this again!

Bird Crack for Food

This is the best no-mess bird food! Finches, woodpeckers, tits, nuthatches - everyone is crazy about him. Unfortunately, it is no longer available from Revain. Please. bring back to camp. The birds will thank you.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Expandable

Birds don't eat it best in feed

As advertised, this seed will not germinate or leave a mess. Unfortunately, the birds in my yard (central North Carolina) showed no interest in him. I even changed my location to encourage their visits. Also, it's very difficult and difficult to shake it out of the feeding trough after it gets wet :(

Pros
  • Good to use

Birds love this seed - they will eat and eat anything.

Birds love this seed - all eaten, no shell to throw away so no mess! I can use it to fill my porch feeders without having to sweep them every day. The only bad thing is the birds love it so much I spend a bag a month on a feeder so the cost goes up.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • There are flaws

The birds in the garden love it!

It took about two weeks for the birds in my garden to realize I had put a feeder in, but when they found it they couldn't get enough! I just refilled my feeder for the first time and in about a week it was all gone! I live in New England and have seen different species of birds at the feeding station. But I only recognize sparrows. It's great to have some cute new bird friends to look at!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • None

Expensive. Attracts more birds than any other seed I've ever tried. In less than an hour we had my bird species and even the Greater Woodpecker which is not normally attracted to these seed species. I will buy it again even if the birds eat me outside and at home in an hour! (True. Three cups are gone in less than an hour. And they are NOT sprouting, which is very important for our small patio edges with a muddy path.)

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Mainly edible millet

The package I received was mainly peeled millet, about 30% peeled sunflower chips (very small chips, heavily crushed) and a few pieces of the promised nuts. Native birds do not eat millet. Millet is great for pigeons, and even Steller's Jays won't eat them; Tits, blackbirds, buffalo, song sparrows, juncos, etc. all dig millet but do not eat it. Gadgets seem to find the sunflower chips in this mix too small or something; they pick them up and drop them. In the previous mix, bought at the…
