Rigid, fits well with window, blocks LOTS of heat from dash and interior through windshield. Significantly more expensive than a universal sun visor. Its worth it ? I really like what it does for my Jeep and it should last the life of the car so I'd say it was worth it for me. Necessary? no

This is one of the most expensive sunscreens on the market, but I wanted the best for my new Jeep. And I am making amends by buying Covercraft sunscreen. This was the first item to arrive on all my international orders and the screen quality did not disappoint. I gave 4 stars for value for money because it's more expensive, but I'm happy with my purchase.

This is actually better quality than the typical "sun visor". It's more like a heat shield in that it's a thick, layered, felt-lined shade that keeps the car a lot cooler when the sun hits the windshield. When not in use, it folds up like an accordion, making it pretty easy to quickly fold up and take with you. This is the second type I have purchased and the only type I am currently considering for my new vehicles.

Doesn't fit the Wrangler 2016 jku as well as we hoped but it could be due to the shape of the JEEP windshield. It's still better than the other affordable option. The only shade that's better is the original Mopar JEEP shade, but it's almost twice the price. This equates to a 1/2 to 1 inch gap depending on how you move it. It can cover the whole glass, but you need to move it a little. Covercraft fits more than perfectly into our Volkswagen and our Toyota.
