Protects door edge impact zone

These Cowles T3000 Door Edge Pads protect not only the edges of your doors, but also other vehicles in your vicinity. Great protection for a very small investment! I put them on both our sports car and our SUV.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Without Automation

Do not buy for interior

I bought these for my van unfortunately the car wash removed the driver's door guard. I now have scratches running the full length of the guard on my door. I'm so thankful I didn't let her through the passenger door. An offer to fix the paint on the driver's door for over $600.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • boring packaging

We park both cars in our garage and accidentally crash.

We park both cars in the garage and accidentally collide with another car while getting in and out in the same place. For the cost and ease of installation, a pack of two correctly placed door panels was just what I needed.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Discontinued

Door railing that is too thick

These protective edges are too thick. I put them on the front doors of my Crosstrek and every time someone opens the rear passenger doors they rub against the guard and make a loud "Crack!" sound. After this has happened a few times I can see the paint peeling off on the rear doors where the crash bar is rubbing against it. What a waste.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Excellent protection when opening car doors in tight spaces.

I have been using these fenders on my 3 cars for years. In our cramped garage at home, the doors always bumped and scraped the sides when opening. These edge protectors have the door's sharp edge covered in thick plastic at critical contact points to prevent the doors from hitting or scratching other vehicles. Excellent protection for opening car doors in tight garages.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • New Competitors

You get what is advertised.

Exactly what the product description says. I have used them on a recent Subaru and they fit the door perfectly. They must be used on the straight part of the door. The plastic is pretty hard and doesn't bend. They fit with friction without glue, but I don't know if the plastic will stretch and slide out the door in the hot desert heat. They're cheap enough that when they work, they work, and when they don't, you throw them away and look for something else.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Negative impression
