The best flare tool!

The best torches I've ever made. The kit includes wonderful pipe cutters and a decent reamer. There is a stopper on the bell making it impossible to damage it and expose the copper too far or too short.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

HOT Trash in Brake Tools

That's well and great, but don't try to use a spare cutting tool blade or you'll destroy it. CPS decided to glue in the locking screw. Now that I have a good set of copper cutters, after a week I can say it's all hot junk.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, it's ok

Top CPS brand

This is a handy tool. Mainly used for mini splits or when you need to flare soft copper tubing. Please note this is NOT a DIP TOOL. This means that the end of the pipe will not expand when connected without a fitting. It is used to make the tip of the soft copper tube wide enough for a mini split.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Good but not great

Best flare tool I've ever had

I use it for all types of HVAC work, primarily refrigerant lines and oil furnace fuel lines. With older flaring tools, even better ones, attention had to be paid to the tube collar to ensure the jaws were properly aligned and the copper tube was held at the correct spacing. Time. A pipe cutter (nice addition), a reamer (absolutely essential!) and a flare tool (very useful) complete the set. >>> NOLEAKS <<<

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Legacy model
