Flimsy Plate, Frustrating Installation

Through trial and error, I found that this plate was not sturdy enough for my door. Despite following the instructions, the installation process was a headache.

are great for garage door access. Where severely scratched and kicked, the metal is industrial grade alum, will not corrode. The unit comes with pre-drilled holes and stainless steel screws to prevent corrosion. looks a little industrial, but that's its purpose. Quality and cost of similar devices.
