works well but not isolated

This works well for Chauvet DJ Followspot 400G control. The headlight has a manual mode, but this uses buttons to increase and decrease the brightness in large increments. There is no fine control. I wired this up using an Arduino Uno and a couple of potentiometers. This allows for much more precise dimming control. This is a low level DMX interface as it is not isolated. Since there is only one element in my DMX chain, I didn't think about it. It would not be safe to use it in a larger…

Seems to be working fine. It's a bit inconvenient to move the jumper every time you want to upload new code to the Arduino, but it's probably better than the alternative.

Good board, here are some useful tips

Good quality sign. I had an issue with corrupted output that turned out to be a library issue with the DmxSimple library. If you use this library, make sure you put: pinMode(2,OUTPUT);digitalWrite(2,HIGH);into setting void setup() so that it is passed correctly. Or set pin D2 low for receive. It's just that dmxserial works fine with this library, but you cannot use the serial monitor functions with this library unless you have an Arduino Mega and have configured the library to use other serial…

Easy DMX connections

Worked well for me to drive 4 LEDs. The only thing I did was toggle the EN jumper on and off to allow programming as the serial port cannot be active at the same time for DMX and USB programming. Stick a piece of tape on it to take it easier. Works well once you figure it out. The documentation is rather sparse. The product description has a link to the wiki, and the last link on the wiki page is to the user manual, which is still pretty sparse but was the best source of information I found. I used their library to start with. It's called dmxlibraryforar and referenced in the user guide. It's not in the Arduino Library Manager.
