NOT 2 INCH Craft PUNCH

I am not satisfied. I expected this to punch through 2 inch hexagons. NO 1 inch. I already have a 1" hole punch, I definitely didn't need two of these.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Poor repairability

Perfect for DIY wall art!

I got married recently and wanted to make a memorial mural with the beautiful wedding cards we received. The bottom cover was nice because it's transparent and removable so I could see exactly what part of the card I wanted to cut out.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • There are nuances

Size Matters: Paper and Paper Crafts

Product is advertised as a 2 inch hex lever punch. It's not two inches. It's 1.75 inches. I should have guessed something was wrong when the side of the box said "Craft Lever Punch 2 inch", made in China. When quilting, the templates need to be precise, not 1.75 inches for a 2-inch hex. really disappointed.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • I'll add later

Very sharp punch

I bought this in part because the punch I have won't pierce through cardboard. I also like this one because it's bigger than what I have and fits better with the Pride project I'm about to start. As you can see, not only does it cut cardboard, it also easily cuts through the box it's in. So far this is a great product. I'll let you know when I have a few hundred hearts.

Pros
  • Kraft
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Circle diameter not 2 inch

If it fits snugly enough this circular hole punch will work. This is not a true 2" diameter. I wanted the 2" Circle Kick to do some quick 2" circles without having to set up my Cricut. The picture with the orange piece of paper and the gray circle from this hole punch shows the difference in the 2" circle cut from my Cricut (orange). Then I tried to take a picture with a ruler to show it's 1/8" to 1/16" less than 2". If you need an accurate measurement I wouldn't recommend this.

Pros
  • Hole punch
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Obviously needed!

Poor quality! Rather disappointed with this purchase. The puncher is obviously used, dirty and the blade is a bit dull. The imprint of the sheet of paper can be seen through the dirt on the underside, which is an important sign that it has been used before. The package was opened and in poor condition. It CUTs 2 inch long ovals, but the edges of some of them are ragged (again, dull blade). Abrasion and tearing are very noticeable on my softer and more pliable specialty paper, but fortunately…

Pros
  • Paper and handicrafts
Cons
  • So far so good
