This item is mislabelled. We were expecting 100 sets (as stated in the product title and description) but received a package of 100, or half what we expected. Buyer Warning.

These are not sockets. Those are eyeballs. Also, they are not at all like the picture. These are crappy ones that you insert with pliers that fall out. Do not worry.

I particularly like the fact that the inner diameter of these eyelets is approx. 6mm, so perfect for my handmade paper beads (see my photo). I will see if they are sold in a different color. These will definitely be my eyelets from now on when I'm going to make big hole beads.

Item Received I have 2 issues with. These are straight grommets not sockets which I was expecting, the word socket should be removed from the product description. They are also NOT 3/16, they are about 1/16 larger and actually closer to 1/4 inch (actually 6mm not 5mm). I can work with this, but I really want the product description to be accurate.

As another customer said, they are much larger than advertised. I'm sure they will come in handy for something in the future and I don't want to mess around with returning such a small item, but I was hoping to use them in a project. They'll just sit around until I get the right size tools for them, and I'll have to order a different set of parts elsewhere for the project I'm working on.

these are my favorite eyelets. They are the perfect size for most of my costume needs. You look great. The only way they could be better for the ME would be if they were copper colored. They're very easy to install with the right hardware (which is if you have a tandy nearby. They also have a website. You can buy it pretty cheap. You'll need a 3/16 anvil set and a set of mini punches ). I use them a lot and will buy more.
