🚪 Door Pin Tool by Crain 362 Review

Over the course of several days I tried several times to remove the pins from different doors. It seemed impossible. This tool did the job in seconds. I highly recommend it.

My boss had one of these and they are REQUIRED at the flooring store. I liked it until the pin fell out. It was an act of God trying to make him stay now. If I had a welder I would, but I don't have one and nothing else works. I hope it's just a factory wedding.

I first bought a plastic tool with a metal pin thinking it would work well. This thing broke on the first door pin that offered some resistance. CRAIN 362 is reliable and simple. 3 or 4 moderate hits with a hammer moved the pin up a solid inch, then the Y-side slid in, and after a few hits the pin was fully out. I'm amazed at how well this tool works.

Like the other reviewers here, I bought a much cheaper door pin removal tool, but this tool broke after removing only two pins. I bought this tool based on its excellent reviews and am happy to report that it does its job very well. All of the door studs in my house seem very difficult to remove and this tool removed them all with no sign of fatigue. I'm so glad I spent the extra money for a reliable and enjoyable experience.
