Not suitable for all reptiles and amphibians.

Removable bottom would be better for most reptiles and amphibians if not removable. I'm afraid most of the snakes will come out and most of the lizards will get stuck on the bottom. This can be a good habitat for some animals. I'm not sure yet what I'm going to post in mine.

Good buy for reptiles and amphibians

So easy to put together and what a great destination for our beard. The only downside is that the clasp is not very strong. For this price you could use an upgrade and maybe a handle to remove the metal top cage. We will only add one coupler, but it's worth buying. Hopefully they take into account the gluing and durability of the door lock.

Not for gecko lizards

Bought with the idea of easy cleaning with tray underneath. There's a bottom (felt) part that can sit on the floor, but then that defeats the idea of easy cleaning. The lizard eats crickets, and after moving the lizard to a new room and adding crickets, we found that they could easily escape through the holes in the door from the drain hole in the tray below. If you're going to feed your pet crickets, this isn't a cage!
