Virtual Earrings on Scraper

This product is great for 'cleaning' rust that shows up on rocker panels, wheel arches and, I like, trailer hitches. Rust turns black immediately. So the benefit is twofold. They stopped the rust and changed the color of the rust to black. Annie Beater looks better with black than with rust all over the car. Trust me I got my share.

Well suited for casting an external gas line.

Used to fill some 1 inch gas fittings and black hoses. Worked quickly and repaired a small amount of rust on the plumbing that was left after installation. Parts of the black tube were still covered with a protective layer and had to be removed as the transducer would not activate without direct contact with slightly rusty metal. It dries quickly and seems to provide a solid base for the oil paint I apply the next day.

I swear it's magic.

I was concerned that this product would actually live up to its claims, especially considering the price. To my surprise, the thing works. Serious. I used it on an old fireplace insert that I didn't know how to remove rust from as it sat in an open shed for a while. I drew CRC all over the place, made a big mess and crossed my thumbs. Ashamed. for car care

Maybe I don't understand how this is supposed to work. I have sprayed various rust converters in the past and they have worked quite well. You spray it on rust and it turns black. I have a truck with very light surface rust and am in the process of painting the bottom of the truck (no primer). Just sprayed black. The product works; must have a strong and visible warning against high temperature use.

Product works as advertised. It quickly forms a heavy black coat over light rust that looks good on its own and holds the color well. However, it may be tempting to use it on grills, shop fixtures, trailers, etc. that are exposed to high temperatures during operation. or which will one day have to be repaired by welding or grinding.
