Newbie job! (Engineering Degree)

Plenty of research prepares you for the rollercoaster ride that "cheap" 3D printers offer. No complaints - in this price range. You have to do a little work to make this thing work. There is no babysitter here. I had to "carry" the gantry beam and I still have a tiny indentation on one corner of the bed. I also get the dreaded "Thermal Runaway" error when the nozzle temp is set to 210+. However, if you want larger 3D prints - and aren't rich - this is your best bet. Do your homework on YouTube.

I really like this printer.

I really love this printer. It's solid, but I still recommend adding supports to the portal. The print quality is amazing. Make sure there is enough space for the printer. I took the styrofoam sheet that comes with the kit and placed it under the printer to reduce vibration noise. Caution, do not lower the platform temperature after a day or two of large prints as this will reduce the sticking potential. I learned this the hard way after the four day imprint rose. Every problem I encounteredโ€ฆ

nice detail for 3D printer

I've been typing for the past few weeks. Problems cannot restart after a power failure, just go to the print area and then right and press the limit bar. can't use the functions if you change filament during printing, stops printing for replacement, but the display shows strange letters and won't restart. the buzzer is only on for a few seconds less than 3. Overall a good product for beginners, just a steep learning curve. have to reinstall the print service after each print and the back rightโ€ฆ
