Received today. Painted with chalk spray paint today. Boom. Packaging as described guarantees no damage in transit, but what a mess! Get your vacuum ready for static white swollen balls everywhere.

Larger than expected and nice aged patina so creamy. It's heavy and the peeling paint is more like peeling plaster, it's very three dimensional and doesn't peel anymore. Comes well packaged with round handles on the bottom to avoid scratching your furniture. I'm very happy and I think this completes my table in my living room!

The base arrived with a corner broken off. It may have been broken before packing as I could only find one piece and two pieces were broken. Also, it's not a cream color, it's a dirty grey. upset. I'll try to paint over the taupe and position it so the missing part isn't visible. Too many problems to return it.

I have to agree with some reviewers The color of this socket tends towards a sickly yellow-green. Maybe some of the craftsmen are a bit clumsy, or maybe the paint color should be overstated, but for the garden it seems to work best. The basic product is ok and the packaging is decent. I'm only to blame for the color.

Not a bad product but COVERED in tiny styrofoam balls - take it anywhere once you open the box. It's a mess to get a socket. Get your vacuum ready or just skip it all. The cleaning took forever. Also some chips on the stand itself from shipping, I think I know it must look problematic but the problematic part is beige and rust colored. The chips I'm talking about are white and don't look right. I would not receive again.

I've wanted one for a long time. I finally ordered one and it arrived today. The color looks really terrible. In the photo it looks white or creamy, but in reality the color looks like dried yellowed sour cream. It's really unattractive. It looks like it's in two pieces, but it's hollow inside. The post is nice, but not ideal for my purpose. But let's start with the packaging. The bar came in a small compact package and arrived without damage. However, the styrofoam it was packaged in was brittle and all the small pieces of styrofoam were stuck to the product and in the bottom cavity. It was a pain to pull it off and I had tiny bits of styrofoam all over the kitchen counter and floor. It would probably help to place the item in the plastic and then in the styrofoam.
