Description of Creative Grids Folded Corner Clipper

Save Steps – No need to draw pencil lines. You have to trim the corner anyway, why not trim it first, and use the raw edge as your seam guide? Since the corner was trimmed with a straight edge, your bonus triangle is ready to sew into a half-square-triangle block!. 45 Degree Angle Perfection – Use the 45 degree angle to join binding, or create a mitered corner. Multiple Patterns – Create blocks like cornered rectangles, flying geese, diamond in a square, and snowball. Easy-To-Use – The ruler slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Our exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and mis-cuts!. Guided Instructions – Learn techniques and tips from our detailed written instructions and video tutorial.

Great for quilting

I just tried this pattern earlier this week while making flying goose blocks. It works really great and is very simple. You just need a small corner or cutting mat next to the machine. Lay the fabric where it belongs, trim the excess, and you're ready to sew with beautifully constructed corners trimmed just for you to make 1/4-inch seams. My grades were perfect.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Sad device

Makes quilting easier and more accurate!

Nearly the best dollar ever spent on quilting tools. I'm on a tight budget and usually only spend on fabrics, but I'm so glad I bought this tool! In the short time I've been using it, my accuracy has improved and now it's easier and faster for me to collect blocks. I especially like that I can sew these corners with my 1/4 inch foot after trimming first. You need it, trust me!

  • Absolutely amazing!

Great for Beveled Corners, Hst and Corner Flips

At first I thought it was a one trick bangs tool, but then I did a little research and found that it could be used for a lot more than conversely can be used corners. I always have it handy for tying - not only for sewing strips together into one long strip, but also for assembling at the end. No more marking a sewing line and then cutting. It's all in one! I still had to pin it (just me), but now it's one step instead of two. Love it!

Great ruler!

I bought the folded corner cutter a year ago but used it for the first time last week. I've always disliked sewing and turning corners. No matter how careful I was, they never turned out. I was afraid to do them. I bought the line after seeing quilters showing them online. It was hard for me to believe that it would really make such a big difference. Well, the difference is huge! It's very easy to use and the resulting angles come out great. I wish I had tried that sooner. I will no longer be…

game changer. I love it!

I knit a lot. And I wasn't able to connect the beginning and end of knitting on a quilt or project I was working on. Good. This tool makes the job easier. Also join the strips to make perfect bindings. He also had other functions. For example, create half-square triangles (no cropping. Just perfect) and more. I bought other tools that should do this but they didn't work. I watched several videos on You Tube before purchasing. And I thought it couldn't be that simple and accurate. No drawing…
