Big performance, small size

Sometimes I feel like I'm the last guy on the planet to use FireWire. I have an old Nikon slide/film scanner that uses it and there simply isn't an equivalent modern replacement for it. I've put together a new build of a micro-ATX form factor computer with somewhat limited space.
