🔍 Cricut Cartridge Universal Overlay (2002230) Review

Bought, not quite sure what it's for or if I'll ever use it. My neighbor took the time to show me how to use it. I'm grateful because it's great, but I don't use it and don't need it for the projects I do. I think it's time to expand so I can put the money I've spent on it to good use.

With word on the street that all future Cricut cartridges will only be used with this current "standard" trim, this trim is a must. I just received mine and am very glad I got it because I have a Cricut cartridge that I need for my Christmas cards and this overlay had to be used with my cartridge. This is a very simple overlay that is very easy to follow with new brochures.

I needed a Cricut base pad to use with some of the new cartridges I bought. The newer ones don't have an overlay and I got this from Revain. These are similar to your regular overlays but can be used with any new cartridges that are available now and in the future.

This gummi works just like any other Cricut gummi, but it's just ProvoCrafts' way of saving money. Instead of offering you great value and giving you a cartridge, slip, and booklet for $30-$50, you now get a half-size box with a cartridge and mini-booklet. I had to buy it privately because they didn't have a Cricut. You'll have to buy this separately and try to figure out which buttons you want to press to get the picture you want.
