    good for $: turntable

    The sound was better than expected. very easy to use, but the hand needs to be placed by hand. The on/off switch is located under the cover of the full-size LP and is difficult to access.

    Breaks within a few months

    It plays records well when you first get it, but after a few months it starts at the wrong speed. Although the sound quality is good, it is NOT worth the money. Go to Crosley's website and buy a cheaper and better turntable.

    Excellent sound quality and tonal balance

    I've had it for almost 4 years and I'm satisfied. Of course, there are better players with external speakers and surround sound, but this is ideal for a bedroom or a small apartment. The tones/balance are great and the sound is impressive. All my albums sound the way they should on this player.

    Almost Perfect - Turntable

    I love the look of this turntable, it's portable with a handle and the sound is just great for this little entertainment box. I hadn't expected that at all. I complain about the 45s, we tend to hear the record stop without playing the last 5+ seconds of the end of the recording. My husband said that the hand is not stretched as it needs to be to pay for smaller entries. By the way, there are no automatic hand gestures. I would buy it again, but maybe if it was $50-$75.

    I hate hate hate this

    Wow I feel like I wasted $100 on this turntable. It plays records way too fast, but that's not the biggest problem I've had. It also jumps constantly, making it impossible to record anything. The slightest scratch or dust will make it slip. The recording aspect is another problem. I don't understand the instructions so I can't get anything useful out of it. I am good with computers and find software problematic. I am very disappointed in this; Buyer beware.

    I have bought this product twice. the needle jumped on the record and didn't play at the right speed. I returned it. Customer service was fine. The second product looked good from the start. It didn't turn the record. Sent it back but still waiting for my money back. The product is obviously cheap, made in China. The plastic used reminds me of a Happy Meal toy.     FAQ: I like this player. Some of the issues I read about in the reviews may just be misunderstandings. After reading some of the issues that others were having, I ordered one anyway. I'm glad I did. A slide switch on top of the speaker releases the turntable so you can open it. Store the power adapter and other cords neatly in the compartment on the bottom of the device.
