Costs money. fits watch

Although a great watch, it does what it says on the description. There's a photo of the outside temp I took with my phone and the one shown by the watch and it's pretty close. I am satisfied and recommend.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Better than my old one

My old SkyScan outside temperature sensor has failed. The new temporary unit was $23 and the whole new unit was only $25. Although this device is a bit smaller than my old one, the time displays are actually a bit larger and I like that it shows a trend (up, down, constant). It's just as accurate as my old one and easy to set up.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • New competition arrived

Radio and outside temp sensor not working

to replace my 15 year old Skyscan which still works but temp sensor and DST have not changed. and change the location, the radio has no signal, then the receiver sensitivity is bad, or the radio does not work. Skyscan has full signal strength. By the way, this brand often has a strange display design. Some watches have a small imprint for the time and a large imprint for the temp/humidity, these have a large imprint but not as nice as my old watch, the global moon is too big.

Pros
  • Full set
Cons
  • Bought Macken

Lost communication with outside temp sensor

I bought several of these sensors to replace older versions some of which didn't read outside temp. I also liked the look of the new units. Unfortunately, the new ones also lose contact with the outdoor transmitter much more often than older models. At least with new ones, you can reconnect to the outdoor transmitter by pressing the button. But it's still annoying to see the outside temperature at 75 degrees when it's so different from reality. I recommend keeping the old ones until they fail.

Pros
  • Many will fit
Cons
  • Type 90

Works as expected, durable

This is our third model from this brand, a slightly different model in 20 years. The rest died from damage to the receivers, not the watch. The clock is still running in another room with no outside temperature. I like being able to see the temperature inside or outside at a glance. We have a clock in the kitchen so you know exactly when the oven is on. The receiver is on a sheltered (it won't get sun) porch about 15 feet away, through a cloakroom and brick wall, with no problems transmitting…

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Poorly designed

Very nice wall clock!

I bought this to replace another wall clock that was having problems and I have no regrets. This is a very beautiful, efficient wall clock. I especially like that the day of the week is given (not "Wed" but say "Wednesday") and there is an option to disable the atomic clock if you don't want it on (where I live seems this being problematic for clocks that require it as they don't seem to work properly and confuse the date and time). I used to have a La Crosse watch and highly recommend it…

Pros
  • Well built

  • No

It turned out to be easier to install than I expected

I am convinced that the indoor and/or outdoor thermometer is not accurate. The entire unit sat in my office for about 6 hours, but the "inside temperature" and "outside temperature" differed by 3 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm deducting a star for this inaccuracy. Pages). This does not require detailed instructions, but I would like to understand the various symbols that are visible on the watch but not explained (for example, the broadcast symbol above the second seems to mean that it has received a…

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • However there are disadvantages
