Arrived quickly and in good condition. It was easy to put together and looks even better than we expected. The perfect side to hold a box of tissues and a cup of tea and a remote control (in the drawer) without taking up space. Simple and stylish. We decided to order another pair for another sofa.

Take your time, level the hardware and make quick turns with the allen wrench on the front top hex screws. This is a very solid and serious table which means it doesn't have any low budget look or feel. It fits perfectly where it is shown in the picture here. Slim profile but firm, love it and am so glad I found this piece after pages of searching.

This is NOT black! The side table I originally wanted and liked the design better was listed as cherry wood. I didn't want a cerise/cherry red at all so I kept looking and found this one that was described as espresso so I thought ok mix brown and black sounds good. Mmm, no, it still has a very noticeable red cast to it. It's too hard to disassemble and return, so I'll try my best, but it definitely is. NO. BLACK!

Most of the table is already assembled out of the box, just need to attach the legs and top, total assembly time is about 20 minutes. One assembly tip: there is some play where the screws secure the legs, so before fully tightening the screws, set the table up so that one leg is no higher or lower than the others and won't wobble. I had one then my mum moved away for a while and I moved it downstairs. When she was gone again, I simply bought another one upstairs because I also liked it downstairs. Honestly, I really like this table. I even bought 2.6 months spacer. Both had the same defect. These tables require assembly, which would be easy without a defect. The first hole was wrong and I couldn't attach the legs to the main table. I had to drill at a different angle with a drill bit. The second table I bought didn't even have side holes to attach legs. So I had to measure and calculate angles and bores. I could do it, but I didn't have to. I can imagine someone like my wife getting this

Given that it is a cheap piece of furniture, this is acceptable. A few minor scuffs, but not in the obvious place. The box is not bulky, but is suitable for small things. It can be set up normally and is easy to get in and out of. The exit is okay. I received the espresso and it is dark brown as expected. I use a couple of these as bedside tables. You are fine as long as you understand that you are buying a set of furniture made in China and not a $300-500 unit at a high end furniture store. As with most things in life, you get what you pay for.
