It wasn't a problem, but I installed the computer.

It's not a problem but the computer I installed it on caught fire so I won't comment on how it works. Walked in with no problems and no worries.

This adapter uses the correct screw size! more specific.

This adapter uses the correct screw size! Specifically, the screw holes on the sides of the bracket are 6-32, the same size as a 3.5-inch hard drive. Some computer cases require special hard drive screws, which are rubber washers to absorb vibration. These screws are usually #6-32. You will need an adapter shell with studs/holes of the same size.
