CryEngine is a great game and learning programming language. It's not perfect though.

I really like CryEngine because it is very flexible, has tons of features and you can get really far without having to learn an entire new programming language (like Unity). It's not perfect though - some things are just clunky and difficult to use, sometimes there are bugs that can make your life miserable. You will spend a lot of time learning how to use it but once you figure out what you want you'll be able to do almost anything. For example I used CryEngine to create my own version of Team

  • Very powerful engine full off tools available in editor which makes prototyping easier than ever before., Easy integration into existing projects so we don’t have build issues when moving from one project or platform/engine type etc..to another.Great support community too.
Cons
  • Nothing major as such at least nothing i dislike
