97 Landcruiser.: Radiator

Reinforced radiator. Installed on a Land Cruiser 97 80 Series. It's been working well for over a year now and I don't expect any problems.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Don't know

Great all metal radiator

Great all metal radiator, I had to replace a fairly new non original plastic radiator on my Land Cruiser that was leaking at the top seam. This should last another 20 years instead of 2.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Long time

Arrived with no problems, I just installed on mine.

Arrived with no problems, just installed it on my Toyota FJ80 and fits perfectly. I expect it will last a very long time as I replaced my OEM after 16 years of use as I didn't want it to run on 4x4 roads anymore.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Good Heatsink, Bad Support

Radiator fits well but the drain plug has odd threads and this seller was unable to help me find a replacement. I called CSF, they only help authorized dealers. I have been told that neither Revain nor the seller on Revain are authorized dealers. So no help for my problem.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Almost OK

So my 1996 LandCruiser cooler finally cracked the plastic on top after 17 years. not bad and needs an OEM replacement but I'm old school and prefer soldered metal to knurled end caps. This CSF was PERFECT and the quality looked really good out of the box. Been driving it for two weeks with no problems. This is now my second CSF (same story with my '96 Toyota Avalon which I switched over a year ago) so I trusted this brand. dropped about 5 degrees, but I attribute this to the lack of partialโ€ฆ

Pros

This is what you need for your Toyota Land Cruiser.

My Land Cruiser is 22 years old and I have decided to replace the original OEM radiator as it was leaking. My shop installed a Spectra radiator and after 3 months it started leaking. My store guaranteed the cooler and I was traveling so they paid to have it replaced at another store. The Spectra had a plastic tank and was cheap. The stock heatsink was from NAPA and I was disappointed that it looked too cheap and didn't go well with the stock position. Started leaking after 1 year 1 month. Nowโ€ฆ
